I will be going to San Antonio for work in a couple of weeks and will be making a weekend out of it. Wanted to spend one day on one of the rivers around there. Has anyone had any experience in this area? Any good places that would possible have a shuttle and rent kayaks seeing as I am not going to haul mine all the way to San An? Thanks!

I am going for the first time next weekend. Not sure if we plan on that or not. If we do, I'll report.

The Guadalupe, definitely. Don't go where the normal tubers go though, unless you feel like avoiding drunk people all day.

Though you might see some nudity.

Where should we go to avoid this?

Anywhere NOT in the city limits of New Braunfels. The city council passed a ban on what you can bring on the river... Including beer, etc.
