Rub rail issue on bay boat

Having an issue on my bay boat where the rub rail started sagging in one place and now damn near the whole thing is hanging attached to the boat at only a few points. Can it simply be glued back with some 3M marine adhesive and clamps to hold it until dry or is it more complicated than I think? Thanks

Does it snap back into place?

I think you'll get better advice if you post a pic

If its a two piece rubber rail, pull the center portion out and tighten the screws that attach to the boat.

A thousand bucks should fix it.

Appears to be attached via adhesive of some type. Do not see anything indicating it snaps on. Will try to post pics when I get home

My boat its one continuous piece all around
Its secured in the rear by two screws.
Find your end points, remove the screws and take up the slack, of the hanging part. Just snap it back in where it is out.
Cut the extra off where you have pulled the slack from.
My ride, not actual boat. Can see its a one piece rail that secures in the rear.

Then the entire inner surface of the boat could be used as an ice chest. You'd need to wear a winter coat in summer. Just throw the fish on the floor. No cooler needed.
