Want to get a rifle and I saw this one but no one had reviewed it:

Remington 700 ADL 7mm Remington Mag Bolt-Action Centerfire Rifle

Could get some opinions from you guys? If y'all have different recommendations I'd like to hear them.

It's a baseline model 700. Doesn't have the trap door for easy dumping of the rounds. You have to cycle them all out via the bolt.

That said, it's a 700 which you can take, do some work on the stock, get some decent optics and mounts, and turn into an excellent hunting rifle. If you want to get all crazy with it, you can take that same rifle and turn it into a tack driving laser beam paragon of accuracy.

One of the greatest bolt action rifles ever made.

Can't go wrong with a 700

Get some good rings and a nice scope and you'll be set for life

Thanks, amigos! One of my friends suggested a 270 so I may look that one over too.

Any of the popular calibers with easy to find ammo would be a good choice

Can't go wrong.

300mag, 7mag,270 wsm are all fine too. Just more expensive ammo from what I'm told.

I can agree with all that,, but I will say that my 7mag is only a couple dollars more than say 06 or 270, not enough to turn u away if you want a 7 mag..

Just for hunting no it's not enough to make a difference in cost. If he want to shoot targets a lot it may make a difference.

He may be a baller like you so may not matter
