Anyone have an R1 and can give some feedback? Picked up one at a price I couldn't pass up, but haven't had time to put rounds through it.

Love mine so far, may in the future buy a Wilson barrel with the comp. It definitely does not need it though. I would say it needs a new main spring bushing, but do does every 1911. I will be replacing the grips too though, something grittier.

I have the R1 Enhanced . Out of several handguns I own, it is by far my most accurate.

Target sights, Adjusatble trigger. Thats about it

BTW on the gun it is referred to as R1!, on the case it is referred to as R1 Enhanced

Thanks for the feedback. One thing on my list to replace or maybe just worked on, is the factory trigger. Seems to have a lot of left to right play in it.
I like the grips and wouldn't mind trying my hand at making some out of purple heart. We'll see
