If you went with N82 Tactical, I think these are more designed around the 1911. Maybe the other posters just misunderstood and thought you meant you had a Springfield XD. N82 Kimber Holsters
Carry under arm or small of back?
I think the most common position to carry is between 3-6 oclock. I don't like carrying small of back because if I fall backwards, my spine is going to feel the full effects of the hard piece of metal in my waistband.
I usually carry around 4 oclock. It's far enough back to blend in and still gives you fairly easy access (
Some people like appendix carry as well, but I feel like it would dig into your stomach too much.
Try out and see what you think is comfortable. That's the first time I've seen those N82 Tactical holsters but they look nice.
