Gulf Anglers Fishing Charter. They've got a young guy named Drew that works his arse off to get you on fish. Worth it.

We've been with One Shot charter out of Fort Walton and had a good experience.

This guy is set up more so to go sword fishing though. No cabin in the boat but you gain the speed of getting offshore and back much quicker.

We went out on the Finest Kind last month, per recommendations from this board. It was end of May and the season was closed on most of the good fish. I did not want to troll for Mackerel, which seems to be about all they do that time of year. I told him to put us on whatever bottom fish he could that we could keep and eat. So he did. We caught about 75 vermillion snapper. Not the most exciting fishing but he did what we asked and we came away with a lot of meat. He did a good job fishing around structure that had Red Snapper/ Grouper/ AJ congregated on it and was for the most part able to put us on places stacked with Vermillion (and Triggers but they had to go back). He said he kills the Red Snapper in season and I believe him. He has a nice boat with a good sized cabin too. Good guide, would recommend.

pretty much status quo for destin offshore fishing, unless you want to do an overnight.

Luckily it's snapper season currently.

If you do go offshore in Destin, on a slow boat, dont let the captain waste your bait fishing, also. Buy some from someone else

I'll add to the one shot charters. Been taking the family with Adam for a couple years now. 25ft Cape Horn and been fishing there since he was a kid. They changed the snapper season up again though so if that's what you're after you better check. We have a blast every time with him and he's good with kids to.
