I have one on a 93 Honda fourtrax. It does quiet it down quite a bit. It does hinder performance but not a deal breaker

Hinder performance as in? Does it lower your HP?

I have one for my rancher 350. Makes it a good bit quieter. You aren't supposed to run it wide arse open with these on, that's about the only performance loss I see. Not really an issue, when I'm in the woods I'm not going fast for the most part.

My buddy's dad has one on his Rubicon. You can't even tell it's running at idle (with mine running close by). Don't know if that's the brand though

I would not run one on a carbeurated bike without a rejet.

A guy at our camp has one. You can certainly tell it isn't as loud as the other 4 wheelers. Having said that it is still definitely audible enough for a deer to hear you coming through the woods. You won't be sneaking up on them. To me it would be perfect if you liked riding through your neighborhood and don't want to piss of your neighbors.
