As bad of an idea as it is, it's still pretty cool. Wouldn't be surprised though to see remote-activated guns get outlawed if this gets any media play.

Interesting the after it fires the drone drops a crap ton. I would guess it being shoved back and maybe a little downward, but that thing almost hits the ground.
And before someone says it, we've had drones dropping bombs for a while now in other countries. Theyre just bigger.

Along the lines of what you said , if memory serves me right, an A-10 Thunderbolt loses 5 knots of airspeed for every second it shoots it's Gau-8 30 mm gun in it's nose.
As slow as they fly it's a real threat to stalling the aircraft if it doesn't go into a gun run with enough speed/energy.
Just thought I'd share that bit of trivia from my old AF days.

cool! That not effective fire though, you wouldnt hit shite! And a kid flew a drone over my property a few months ago 3, 3 1/2 Tripe BB didnt end well for the kids drone!
