I'm going with the family to an all exclusive resort on the beach in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic in July. They have kayaks I can use. Question. Has anyone fished out there? I'm thinking of bringing my rods and some tackle. Wonder if it's worth the hassle of bringing a 30w, my jigging rod, and a trout rod? Wonder how easy it would be to catch hardtails, threadfin, etc with sabikis.

Yea. Getting rods through customs would be burdensome I would imagine. If you really want to fish, take a half day charter
