I am going camping next week for the first time on my own.I've been back packing in Costa Rica last year and picked up a few tips but I figured the outdoor board could help me out.

Any advice or tips you've learned over the years?

Pack light. Bring bug spray just in case. Prepare your food that you plan to cook ahead of time as much as possible (chopping vegetables, marinating shite, whatever). Reduce the amount of dishes you need to as few as possible because they're a pain in the arse out in the woods.

Also I have a gun when I'm out camping alone but that's up to you.

I'll be in indian creek. Idk if you park and then hike a short distance to your site or of you can drive up to your site.

I know you can park next to the camp sites. Never been to the primal camping sites.

Should I use quotation marks around primal ? Lol

oh. Then my advice is: bring a lot of beer and also bring some Gatorade and Advil for the morning because you're going to be hungover. Bring a lot of toilet paper so you can handle the beer shits.

ETA: also try not to burn yourself while you get drunk and play with the campfire.
