Primary machine in Morgan city does slide work and stippling. I have my glock 34 on the way back. These guys do great work at reasonable prices.

They did
Extreme slide cut
Stipple frame and trigger guard
Optic cut
Installed Dawson Suppressor sights (co witness with RDS)

I added
Zev Fulcrum trigger
Zev Barrel
Zev skeleton firing pin and firing pin spring
Vortex Venom RDS

I haven't had a chance to use it yet. It gets really good reviews. I bought it over the fastfire because the field of view is larger. I have a Trijicon on my FN FNX tac and love it but didn't want to spend $500 on a RDS for a range gun. I get my gun back on Monday and plan on range trip sometime next week.

Just honestly curious. Are you guy's like SWAT operators, in special forces...etc? Or do you get all this work done just because? Sort of like buying rims or jacking up your truck.

I like cool guns. Some guys like cars or boats. Guns just happen to be my thing.

I just saw this on Bayoushooter. I had to look them up. It's the first I have heard of them, but their work looks top notch.

From all accounts their work is as good as some of the better known shops. I like the fact they are a LA business and their turnaround time right now is about 10 business days. Their prices are really reasonable for the work they do. Taran Tactical wanted about $300 more to do similar work and their turn around time was 6 weeks.

A Zev Dragonfly Glock 34 Slide\barrel combo is $1100 for comparison. Primary did all of my work for about $700 and the barrel cost me $250.

That right there is crazy. I was going to get a Zev glock a while back, but the turn around time was ridiculous. Interstate guns had a ATOM slide so I went with that. I still want to get some work done on my G19, and I would love to try these guys. Do you get to choose how you want your cut outs and serrations or do they just it a certain way?

Right?

All of that and it's still a well-made, reliable, highly respected firearm.

I was thinking about one for my 22/45, but we've had to send so many back for a myriad of issues that I'm hesitant. I get all Vortex half off and I'm still on the fence

I wouldn't think it would be an issue on that gun just because the slide doesn't reciprocate.

PM still comes recommended?

Any other options?

Looking for basic slide milling for a red dot. Not for a glock.
