There's a knob to the right or left of the seat that controls the rudder.

Rudder controlled by a hand lever. Super easy

Got my rammount in and put the depth finder up. Next, I have the rammount transducer arm coming in today.

I bought a Lowrance Elite 4 and still haven't decided where I want to mount it. Which is code for I probably should start and get that all sorted out soon.

I think I saw where academy had the elite 5 HDI on sale for the same price as the 4. And it came with a navionocs card. Which is about an $80 value. Not sure if that's still the case though.

I got the Elite 4 DSI because it has pretty good reviews and I really wanted something with GPS capabilities. Not that I foresee it happening but I have an irrational fear of getting turned around in the marsh or loosing track of where I am. Plus I wanted to be able to mark areas/spots and have something that could give directions to waypoints.

Got the transducer mount set up. That thing is a solid aluminum rod and was a bitch to bend into shape.

Alright, I think I'm about to bite the bullet and purchase a yak or a paddle board.
What are y'all's recs? The budget is up to 1k...
I'm starting to fly fish more and more and looking for something I can stand up in for view and casting leverage. However, it'd be nice to have something sit down in.
Also, I live very close to lots of fairly good freshwater fishing but prefer saltwater.
Do more saltwater than anything else out at Chandy Islands and the marsh down in Pointe a la hache and fourchon (or at least looking to get into marsh fishing in fourchon).
What do you say?
