Planning on doing some cooking from the blind this year, any experience and/or opinions would be appreciated.

you pay more for weber but its worth ever freaking penny. I was given a cheaper one as a gift like charbroil or something , didn't even last to 2 years. THis weber is built like a tank.

I also recommend finding yourself one of these. Biscuits in the blind is nothing short of a heavenly experience.

I like those small ones.

Is that good for cooking a little bit or just making coffee?

Pricey, but I love mine. Packs down to a very small size.

I've got one, plan on doing boudin and biscuits to go with some thermos gumbo (from the night before) most mornings. The Weber looks like the size I'm looking for.

I cooked deer sausage and eggs with biscuits in a foldable pan like 34venture was showing.

I'm thinking the easiest thing to do is fab a lock-box to keep the grill and a small cast iron (for biscuits) in the blind. That way I can just lock it in the blind. Hauling pots and pans in and out is out of the question considering we'll be bringing a lot of gear in and out of our hole every morning. Stuffing two packs of boudin and a thermos in my bag won't be much trouble.

1) Everyone is usually hungover and rushing to get to the blind

2) I like to stay in the blind as long as possible

3) Everyone stays longer with a bottle of hot damn and a plate of hot food

4) I like to cook

5) I like to do hoodrat shite with my friends

6) Why do you question everything (literally)?

Pack of tortillas, about 8 eggs prescrambled, sausage. Fry up the sausage like hamburger meat then pour the eggs on it until cooked then scoop out into tortillas for some breakfast burritos.

Cause I can. Deer hunters are a different breed. I eat before I leave, and if I'm staying all day, I'll bring a sandwich and a couple of snacks.
