Polyurethane finish water vs oil

Finishing up hard wood floor install and installer is giving me options for type of polyurethane finish. He said that water based is a faster process usually more coats but less time wait between sanding etc. He doesn't have a preferred finish just wanted to give me some choices. He said the oil based poly is harder but to a non-floor person it wouldn't be noticeable. Thoughts?

While we are on it I discovered the clear water urethane coating is actually clear and not yellow tinted like the oil based. I LOVE this for small wood projects that I want to keep the naturally light fine grained color and tone of the wood but still protect it.

The nice thing about the waterlox over the poly is you can add another finish in the future without stripping the existing finish. With a poly, that entire surface has to be stripped to be refinished.
This is my 8 year old heart pine floors with the Waterlox. I just took this picture and it is located in a doorway. We have dogs and kids, the poly would be harder initially but look worse over time.
