Slapped in some mbus for some casual shooting hopefully this weekend and a bipod to see what it would all weigh.

That brake is gonna frick you up

My SCAR 17 came with the same brake. Jesus Christ on a cracker the mofo was loud. First thing I did to the SCAR was get a Saker brake so I could run my Omega on it.

ETA:almost same

Love me some gas piston 7.62 guns. That is a very fine weapon.

I see it, I see it.

Haven’t got to shoot it much this year. Last time I did it started having extraction issues. I talked to POF and on there first 100 or so they had a spring issue on the extractor. I am going to send it to them because I can’t flip the spring like it needs to be. I haven’t sent it in yet because they also said they would tune the gas system for my suppressors if I wanted to send it all to them. Was waiting for my omega to get out of jail so I can send it and my hybrid to them. Haven’t shot it suppressed yet but I figure while it’s over there might as well let them test n tune it.

Yea that brake goes boom for sure!

Never held a scar much less shoot one so can’t compare.

Thanks for the reply.

Sucks you are having some issues but at least it will get tuned for the suppressors.

I think I'm pretty much set on the Revolution. They are releasing a direct impingement version of it on Saturday and depending on how the reviews are on that I will either be getting that one or the original gas piston.

Very nice. I've been thinking of selling or trading off some FAL items to help pay for a good 7.62mm AR.

Yea they said the issue was around the first batch, I had got in on there first shipment out. They have been real nice to talk to and helpful. Something about the extractor spring on the bolt has a little play or can get crooked and effects it’s opperation. They have been more than willing to fix it up when I send it in.

I had asked them if they could take the brake off while they have it because while it is pretty close to a standard ar15 I couldn’t get it to snug up in my bench block good enough. That’s when they told me they offer the free tuning with any cans if I send it to them.

Ohh I didn’t realize they were releasing another version. Do they have a weight on that one? Piston guns should be heavier right?

Yeah the weight is supposedly 6.8lbs on the DI version.

Mine was a tad heavier than advertised was my only disapoint. Thats nice tho...more so than the weight I was impressed with its physical size vs the Sig 716 I had. It felt small like a ar15 vs the big ar10.
