Place to hook a camper up near Slidell or Hattiesburg

Meeting a guy tomorrow to buy a trailer and need a place to hook it up (water / electricity) to check everything out. Anybody know of a campground or rest area where I can do this in that are? Tia

There's a campground of I-10 exit 263, Hwy 433/Old Spanish Trail in Slidell.
It's called New Orleans East Campground
Where are you handling this transaction? Slidell and Hattiesburg aren't exactly close. About 1.5 hours apart. I'd imagine there'd be a place near Picayune, Carriere or Poplarville also and that would be closer to the "middle" between Slidell and Hattiesburg.
Just did a quick Google and found Sunroamer's Campground in Picayune, MS off I-59 and Haascienda Ranch in Poplarville, MS off I-59 also.

The seller is from Lucidale Ms so there are a couple different half way points where I can meet him. Shotted route would be Columbia Ms to Hattiesburg
I found a few RV parks that I'll have to call and see if they will allow it. Was hoping they had some tourist Info centers or rest stops on I-10 or I-59

there is a rest area right at the LA/MS line on I59

Paul B. Johnson just south of Hattiesburg has some easy spots to get in and out on the left just past the boat launch.
