No way, there'd be 2 threads on the first page of the OT and one on the Outdoor board if so...

I actually wasn't kidding. Tourism at those places are made up predominantly of those two groups.

Any reasoning behind that?

For sure. I knew what you were saying.

I couldn't let that opportunity pass...

Some people are too dumb to be functional citizens.

I've been to 42 states and have hit a national park or state park in each.

Asians pack ten deep in minivans and germans rent RVs. Idk why. They are just out there in droves.

Nature Deficit Disorder; it's everywhere.

My phone is ringing off the hook with people "saving" ducklings and goslings and needing my guidance. Or they want me to spend resources saving or worse-yet, relocating them. Good luck releasing that Canada goose you raised from a day-old gosling because he "lost" his momma and you brought him home.

I went to a talk on suburban foxes and had to explain to the speaker why the life expectancy of a fox is barely 2 years. 80% of them don't survive their first few months, and that's a normal, natural thing.

I hope they're prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. How fricking idiotic could one/two people be?

its amazing how little of an understanding some people have for nature. When i was in school i was driving over the brazos river one weekend and this crazy lady was dodging traffic in the middle of the highway.

apparently a water turkey had tried to fly over the bridge but didnt make it unscathed. this dumb broad was chasing it around the road trying to rescue it.

I damn near got in a wreck myself for watching her cause i want to see what happens if and when she actually catches it. that bird would have ate her arse up.

I don't think she had gotten to that part of the heroic plan.
