Who uses them, which one, what type of gun? Let me hear the reviews before I buy one.

Been shooting one for years. I only break it out when they are flying high or the geese are running.
Beretta AL390
Patternmaster Ported Extended Range (Basically XFull)
I can reach out and touch something with it.

They're great chokes, just expensive IMO. I bought a Kicks for my Benelli a few years ago and I really like it and it's a little bit cheaper. I have the High Flyer which is an extended modified. Works well for what I need it to do.

Patternmaster is very good but like bourg said I also have a kicks high flyer modified and it is an all around good choke. My gun and that choke with Kents is what gets the job done!

I had the extended range and loved it. Seemed to make a pretty big difference on the long range stuff. Lost it and got the code black long range and its still just as good.

Browning maxus 12 ga - code black goose
Browning BPS 10 ga - extended range
It's the same exact choke just a different finish. Buy the code black duck if you're a good shot. Buy the code black goose if you want a rifle.

Benelli nova
Extended range ported
I have about 6 chokes and this is the one I use for ducks 90% of the time.

I am looking at a patternmaster for the A5, but not sure which one to buy.

I shot an A5 on sunday. It's such a damn fine gun.

Just bought the extended range for big duck season coming up.
I also have a pattern master ported for a 10 guage..fits brownings. Willing to sell for cheap if anyone interested

I went a little cheaper and got a Carlson med range, have had it 3-4 years now. I can diff tell a difference at the longer ranges even though it is the medium range one. Made more than a few 50yrd shots on doves a couple weeks ago for the opener.
There was a thread about this awhile back IIRC, had a comparison chart and a lot of good info in it, may want to search.

I use a Haydel's mid range and extended range. They have worked well in my SX2 and SX3.

I think I might try a Haydel's out soon. Other than the XRange Patternmaster, I have always just used the factory Beretta chokes.
