Ain't that the truth. When a man has nothing more to do than cut up pallets just to drink beer and watch them burn while listening to Skynyrd, I say he's got life figured out just fine.

Dont forget drift wood, dried nanner fronds, old scaffold boards, palmetto palms, and anything else I can find for free.

I've been wacking pallets for years...circular saw is the quickest for me but it eats up the blades something fierce...
so...I have a pallet wacking saw and a fine finish saw...
the wife likes it because the wood burns with a good flame...which means it burns up pretty fast...

The quick efficient way is the skill saw the circular saw blade floats from board to board flat and it works well. But after 12 pallets or so I needed a change in activity so I moved to the good ole recip saw. ya right they burn fast we are prolly half way through the pile already. Thats ok though still plenty pallets to be had. I figure 4 pallets will last a late night beer drinking session.

It's times like these that makes the effort worth it. We sat long into the night With Lynyrd Skynyrd playing on my portable speaker, reveling in the Spring evening, with a nice cold beer or two to refresh my palate after refreshing my pallet pile.

Ohh drift wood from the river burns hot clean and fast too. Best time to get it is early summer when the river goes down .
