Been hearing live bait...shrimp and pogie.
Also been hearing pogie and finger mullets at the jetties.
I may be there Friday or Saturday or Sunday or a combination.

fish like everyone else does out there, ride around til you see someone catching then pull up next to them

Yeah... No shite. Happened to us last time out there. Had 3 boats fishing within casting distance of us... Pissed us off to say the least

Wth all the rain we have had yesterday and today plus the 15+ knot winds today you can expect some muddy water. If we don't get some good tidal movements you may be in for a lot of dirty water this weekend.

after fishing big lake it's nice to get down to montegut where i can fish all day and not see another boat

That's why I fish farther north usually..
Hate to fight the crowds..even had a guide roll up and pass right where we were casting then had the nerve to ask what we were using.
Once he got on fish he started calling other guides.
