I'll start off by saying this will only be used for my four wheeler and possibly a golf cart in the future.

Will a 2000# axle be big enough for a Rancher 420 or a typical golf cart?

Im going to buy a new 5x8 trailer for really cheap, but the seller seemed to think it may possibly be too small for what I want it for, not dimension wise, but weight wise. Whats say you?

I feel like they wouldn't make a trailer that size if it couldnt even tow a damn four wheeler.

i'd go no smaller than 6x10 and then when you compare that to a 6x12, might be $70 more or something stupid.

Always buy more trailer than you think you need.

I almost bought a smaller trailer for a four wheeler. I bought a 12' instead. Use it way more for other shite other than four wheeler. Sometimes I wish I had a 16'. Def go larger

At an absolute minimum, get a 3500lb axle. Since it's a single axle trailer, a 5500 would be better

Also, as far as width I like my 5ft wide because the fenders don't stick out any further than the width of my truck.

I got a 5x8 bc I already had a 6x16. I like the 5x8 bc I can take the 4 wheeler off and then pull the trailer with it. Fits for what I need it to do.

I only have room to store an 8' or 10' max. And the 8' is really cheap. Ill get a bigger one once i have more place to park it. Im just tired of loading my bike into the back of my truck.
