Opinions on Utility Trailer

I'll start off by saying this will only be used for my four wheeler and possibly a golf cart in the future.
Will a 2000# axle be big enough for a Rancher 420 or a typical golf cart?
Im going to buy a new 5x8 trailer for really cheap, but the seller seemed to think it may possibly be too small for what I want it for, not dimension wise, but weight wise. Whats say you?
I feel like they wouldn't make a trailer that size if it couldnt even tow a damn four wheeler.

You can switch out the axel for like $250.

i'd go no smaller than 6x10 and then when you compare that to a 6x12, might be $70 more or something stupid.

Always buy more trailer than you think you need.

I almost bought a smaller trailer for a four wheeler. I bought a 12' instead. Use it way more for other shite other than four wheeler. Sometimes I wish I had a 16'. Def go larger

At an absolute minimum, get a 3500lb axle. Since it's a single axle trailer, a 5500 would be better

i bought a 5x10 and wish i had went 6x12 the price difference was less than 100 dollars.

I got a 5x12. Wish I would've got 6x12. Don't know what the diff in price was, didn't ask. Wish I would've now.

I started hauling dirt bikes with a 5x8. It was stolen and I got a great deal on a 5x10. Wish I had a 6x12. Just sayin.....

I have a 5 x 10' it gives room for the four wheeler and still enough room for icechest.

Also, as far as width I like my 5ft wide because the fenders don't stick out any further than the width of my truck.

My 6' foot wide trailer is 82". My truck is 80 inches wide.

I got a 5x8 bc I already had a 6x16. I like the 5x8 bc I can take the 4 wheeler off and then pull the trailer with it. Fits for what I need it to do.

I have a 6x16 dual axle I've been thinking of selling if interested.

I only have room to store an 8' or 10' max. And the 8' is really cheap. Ill get a bigger one once i have more place to park it. Im just tired of loading my bike into the back of my truck.

I have a 5x8. Great for a 4wheeler, but I got a sxs and now I wish it was 6x10.

So my question stands, will 2000# be ok to haul my four wheeler?
