Opening weekend in Mississippi

Rifle season starts Sat morning. I'm pumped. Haven't been but twice during bow season. Got a few small bucks on camera. Gonna let them walk. Lots of hogs. Hope to bust one!

I am going to St.Francisville tomorrow to slay some hogs. Gonna try out a friend's .444 single shot on them.

Im going to a wedding saturday.

I'll be in miss next week. Gonna take my 5 yr old son on his first hunt. First legal deer gets lead poisoning.

Great weekend for it man. Lows around freezing. Still out of commision until middle of December so post some pics of the bucks u shoot.

Will be chasing birds this weekend. I'm really excited for this year though. We've been seeing a ton of deer activity on the cameras

headed up tomorrow evening. It is going to be fun. club next door runs dogs, it fun listening to the hounds. they usually run some does over.
We are not shooting does this year and are slinging corn. should make for some great rut hunting.

your son can shoot anything except a spotted fawn...he should get his first kill if anything walks out.

This is correct. The antler restrictions don't apply to youngsters. The only thing I tell my son is no fawns or does with spotted fawns. Anything else is fair game.
