Anyone hunting in Georgia? Rifle season opens tomorrow and I am not sure I will get anything done at work today.

Some friends and I got our own lease this year so I am excited to see what we have. Trail cam pics are so, so , have not seen anything to get overly excited about yet, but most of the neighbors are shooting 120 or better. Place hasn't been hunted in a couple years. Bow hunted one day and took a doe. But it should get down in the 40's at night so I am hoping that gets them on their feet.

I have a project on the way to the camp that I have been saving my site visit for today. Ready for some cold beers, hot fire, some backstrap on the grill, some poker games and some very exaggerated hunting stories.

Good luck, I've yet to do any hunting since moving here, I usually drive back to Louisiana. However, I want to try to bag a turkey this year. Where is your lease?

Should be a great weekend!
I hunt with a bunch of Florida hunters. They swarm these parts this time of year.

I'll be in the stand all weekend in Houston County. Parents have a house in Hancock and they are just starting to get moving around there. White Oaks are just starting to drop so hopefully you will have a successful opening weekend.

Hunting in Harris County along Mulberry Creek where it hits Goat Rock. We have seen a few nice ones walking around.

Have relatives in Sparta. Killed some there when I was a kid.
