Ok so I dropped off a couple older shimano reels today at Favaro's in Baton Rouge to be cleaned up and bearings replaced. I asked them if they did any trades or purchased these reels, but they didn't seem too interested. My question is, are there any other reel shops or places that might have older shimano curado or chronarch reels that would be interested in selling or trading them. I'm trying to trade my regular models for some of the older superfree models.

It's a little rod & reel repair shop in the ghetto off of plank rd. I found it by searching old threads on here. Seems like people recommended it.

I just rebuilt a curado bantam super free

I replaced all the plastic parts on tHe outside and had it cleaned and the drag washers replaced. The new chronarchs are fine reels and I now a guy that sells them for $175.00 or $180.00 new. Last time I bought some at academy I paid about $216.00 with tax.
