Oklahoma/TX Ducking Guide Rec Needed
Posted by GumboPoBoy on 3/5/17 at 5:13 pm00
I'm looking to set up a guided hunt for a group of first time duck hunters in northern Texas (out of Dallas) or head north to Oklahoma. I've seen several recommendations over the last year or sp, but I can't find them using the search function.
Thanks for your help guys.

Texas Hunting Forum dot com.
Or if you really want to "pay" look up Greystone Castle.

Pretty sure Geauxcats hunted with Kent Outdoors and had a good trip.
We booked for next year with Finishline Outdoors in Okie. They offered more as far as goose hunting and cranes as well as an option to duck hunt the evenings.

Stuart Ranch is another one. Kent and Stuart have hog hunting available too.

Sorry I can't offer much help. I public land walk-in hunt pretty much exclusively in Oklahoma.
Several guys on the OB hunt with Sooner Outfitters and have great things to say about them, but they're well north of OKC so probably 4+ hrs north of dfw.

all I recall was you hunted ducks in OK a lot and thought you could help which you did, thanks :)
don't know why anyone would give you a downvote for trying to help a OB brother out :/

My dad and crew just hunted with Big Creek Outfitters out of Ponca City OK in January and it was the best trip they have had. They have been going on one or two guided hunts a year for around 10 years. Big Creek
Elmo Halverson - the guide is a straight shooter who will let you hunt the way you want (heavy guide or light guide services). If it is not too far, take a look.

I live in dallas and I hunted with dry creek outfitters in january and we shot 60+ geese. Would definitly recomend. Judging from their instagram account, it looks like they slaughtered the ducks and geese all year. They are based out of wichita falls (2 hours from dallas) but we crossed the border and hunted in oklahoma that day
