I hiked Clark creek today. Much respect for those of you who have hiked the AT. It was a blast but I was dead when I got back to the car.

Plenty. I wore my gopro and had the setting where it takes a picture every 30 seconds on, only problem was I forgot to take the videos from Mardi Gras off the SD card. It took about 90 pictures before it got full, but I have more on my phone. Will upload them later and post them in here.

. You are under estimating the AT

I made the mistake and went by myself the last time I hiked on Clark creek. So I wasn't waiting for others and taking breaks. That last half mile to the truck was brutal.

How long did it take you?

I was with my girlfriend and we took the primitive trail. All in all it took us 5 hours, but we spent quite a bit of time at the waterfalls, and stopped for lunch.

I did it in a little over 3 hours. Would not recommend that. But I've been there a few times so I was seeing how fast I could do it.

Finally got around to messing with the pics. Just put them in a slideshow to make it easier. Took the pics on my go pro. Didn't put that music in there.

There were quite a few on the main trail. Not too many in the back on the primitive one.

Will be out there Sunday. Thinking about bringing my dogs. Should be interesting if they tag along.

I will bring my dog next time. Wasn't sure of the rules on it.

I might get a pack for her and let her carry my lunch

Haha I thought about getting a pack for mine. I'm worried about them running up to people who don't want to be bothered. And one of them is pretty lazy. We will see how he will do with the whole climbing over things.

Not for my dog. I was joking but now am considering it. I would like to bring more water next time. Maybe get a filter cause there is plenty of good creek water to be had.

My camelback just holds 70 oz. I drink lots of liquid.

Mine holds 100oz. I have looked at dog packs but they are a little pricey. I just brought my bladder and 2 water bottles for me and my gf and it lasted us, but the last mile or so I was running out and wished I had more.

It's insane how much dog packs cost. My doberman chews through them anyway so it's waste of money for me.
