I searched again under radical firearms reviews and radical firearms suck. Seems to get good reviews. I'm sure there are some bad reviews like with any product. So far what I have seen seems legit. I'll know Monday when my upper comes in

S&W M&P Sport II wanting to replace the stock foregrip with a quadrail foregrip. Suggestions please? Thanks!

I assume you mean rail. That said, do not go with a quad rail. You will never use that much stuff to warrent rails everywhere. Go keymod or mlok. Midwest makes good rails as does Geissele, ALG, and a slew of other companies.

Okay so I've got 4 lowers from Aero Precision on their way to my FFL. What are some LPKs I should be looking at? Are things like CMC triggers worth it? What are some triggers I should look at. This isn't going to be a competition gun.
The gun shop I've found in the local area is owned by a real cool guy and his entire business solely revolves around custom AR-15/10's. He's big into Rainier Arms stuff. How is their quality?

I've been looking at building an Ar pistol, and I found the Blade arm stabilizer from Kak Industries...how do the rules work in regard to if I build an Ar pistol with that stock on it, and I shoot it from the shoulder?
Posted on 2/14/16 at 8:46 am to boatless2
I own a kak shockwave. My 10.5 upper comes in tomorrow. Kak sends a letter And lots online about it. "Supposed" to not shoulder it. So don't shoulder it but go and enjoy it. That's my plan
I plan on "enjoying" it.
I'll post pics tomorrow afternoon when it comes in

I went with a 10.5 upper from radical firearms in 556. Psa lower bcg and charging handle. Shockwace blade and Daniele defense sights.

sweet, I think I'm going to do the same thing, except in 300 blackout.
Eventually it'll get a silencer on it and thermal for night time hog hunting

"Shooting it from the shoulder" doesn't enter into it. If ATF considers it a stock, and you have a non-stamped, non-approved SBR, you're in violation. If the ATF considers it a "brace" (like the Sig) - then the configuration as a pistol remains valid, whether you "shoulder it" or not.
ETA: Propogandalf, Carson and others should put together a stickied thread so we can educate builders about SBR issues, Class III and such. Suppressors could be included, but those generally take care of themselves. With this new wave of home builders (myself included) there are tremendous pitfalls out there for the unwary.

Only if you get caught

Per the letter that came with it. It is a stabilizer. It is however not intended to be shouldered as it states

So. Go and enjoy the brace but just don't go enjoying it all over facebook

A write up on SBR's would be good, and I think would answer a lot questions that come up in this thread.
Where would you get questioned about the use of a SBR, and if you had the correct forms filed to use it, besides getting stopped by green jeans while hunting on a wma?
If you shoot it at the range do you have to present the forms to prove you have filed the correct forms, or do you only get questioned if you do something dumb, like spot lighting deer at night?

I've never been asked for my papers at the range.
Me bapple and propagandolf had a visit from the local PD today while shooting full auto, suppressors and SBRs. They didn't even ask about papers
My assumption would be that the only time you'd have to show paperwork is to an ATF agent.

Not necessarily true. The latest ruling I read was that the ATF considers the act of shouldering an arm brace a "redesign" of the weapon into an SBR. I don't know that there has ever been anyone charged federally for manufacturing an SBR by shouldering a stabilizing brace. The burden of proof for them to show that the weapon was, without a doubt, in contact with you shoulder is pretty rediculous. It wouldn't be hard to claim that you weren't making contact with your shoulder, you were just holding it an inch off therefore not "shouldering" the weapon.
That's my take on it at least.
