Lots of different lpk's sometimes on Amazon you can find CMMG for about 70 bucks. Or you could use a geislee which is self contained all you do is drop it in and insert the pins. If you want a two stage, I would highly recommend the rockriver two stage match.

Shot my Colt le6920 yesterday got some decent groups with open sights.
Is it bad to rest the barrel on the bench rest while shooting? I shot about 90rds yesterday and the barrel got kinda hot. I just dont want to warp the barrel or anything... I figured ideally I should have put the handguard on the bench rest but I wasnt sure.

Never rest your barrel on anything, its bad for accuracy more than anything else

Yeah I figured... I just wanted to make sure it wouldnt cause the barrel to warp at all.

Unless you get the barrel hot enough to glow I wouldn't worry. It will take a hell of a lot more than 90 rounds to do that.

My PSA complete upper came in today. BCM bcg and charging handle.
Today I ordered PSA lower, lpk, magpul str stock,grip,trigger guard, angled foregrip, YHM forearm end cap, magpul sights, pmags.

Finally got the barrel assembly. Maybe this thing will be ready for Labor Day weekend (Dez! If u out there, this means you and me field testing brah!!!)

Im thinking about getting a 6.8 upper. Can you shoot .270 out of it too? I believe they are both .277mm

No. I'm building one. .270 is based off of the .30-06 case. 6.8 is based off of the .30 Remington case which is much shorter.

Hey guys, another question. How much money will ammo run me? I plan on building a 5.56 caliber. I'am ordering things slowly as that is the only way i can afford to build one. Just trying to price some things out.
