Have you ordered any from them? Alotta stuff i read on 300blktalk says some people have orders from november-december that still havent been filled. So i was under the assumption they dont track in or out of stock.

Registered? Its a AR15 lower. I haven't ever registered a lower

When you bought it, the FFL registered it as one of the three. If you didnt say anything, then it is probably registered as a rifle.
I need it not to be a rifle so that I may turn it into a pistol then a SBR.

Burgeman posted the law that said you can use a rifle lower with just the buffer tube a few dozen pages back

I am not going to find it in here, but I will pull up the ATF rules and laws to make sure.
The problem is it being too short for a rifle. I am not worried about the barrel length but the OAL. That is where the problem is. A 8" barrel is going to be far too short.

He runs his without a stock for the time being. Some people claimed it could still be a federal offense, so he posted where it said it could be a lower with just the buffer tube. And yea, no way you find it in here lol

I have heard dozens of people say that that is strictly against the law. Including the owners of two class 3 dealers. I definitely want to see this law.
Other problem with this is if you have an AR stock or anything that could be a stock in your house or possession, you now have creative construction of a class 3 item with no stamp and 10 years in bang you in the butt prison.

From what I read about it, you have to modify the tube so that its not possible to slide a stock on it. And also as sammich said, if they find a stock in your house that "could" be put on the tube then you're fricked for that constructive intent shite.

On phone but what I read said that I cannot be a rifle lower as registered by the FFL and the buffer cannot accept a stock. Correct me if I'm wrong.
