Not really interested in another .308, as I had a couple prior to the incident at the lake. .223 is a cheaper round to shoot for me and now seems like a good time to get the bare essentials with pmags and a lower just in case these idiots in DC actually get some kind of legislation pushed through against us. I didn't know.it at the time but my phone auto corrected "avy" to something that made absolutely no sense and everybody just seemed to ignore the post so I just left it instead of readdressing the matter.

I figured it was an autocorrect, plus I've seen many comments against my avy
ETA: I always like to tell them I work in a psych ward. Really helps tie it all together IMO

I'm sure some of you have ordered from PKfirearms before. I ordered my stripped lower from there a few days ago and sent my FFL the order info. My FFL and I are on opposite schedules as far as working days and nights, so we don't talk much. My question is, will I get a shipping notice from them?

Can you guys recommend some good FDE optics options? I'm looking for red dot or something similar. Not a scope.

I think if you are wanting FDE you will most likely need to duracoat it. But i really like my aimpoint pro. High quality at a pretty unbeatable price.
