And I don't understand the .22LR shortage. Is it just because it's so cheap that everyone is just grabbing all that comes out?

And there is a significant number of people who have .22LR uppers or sub-caliber drop-ins for their ARs (to plink and shoot in an indoor range), plus conversion kits for 1911s to shoot 22 - combine that with the significant number of people who view Marlin 60 & Ruger 10/22 (I mean, out of the ~300 million guns in US private hands, 50 million have to be Marlin 60s or 10/22s, right?) as their "better than nothing" defense long gun, and the stockpiling becomes a little more understandable. If you have to shoot something for proficiency, .22LR is much better than nothing.

Can't beat <0.05 a round. That and the fact that it would pretty much be the perfect round for SHTF.

I was thinking like anywhere between 200-250 rounds of 9mm, as long as it isnt really crappy ammo

I had too many cold mornings and most of them were in the rain. Im done. Well I am done until I get some money from people. I have bought stupid amounts of ammo for people and have yet to receive a dime for it. Its all about to go to GunBroker.

I think I'm done with the academy runs also. I have almost 2k rd in the closet, that's enough for now. If I see a great deal pop up online, ill probably get it, but that's about it. Academy is too hit or miss for only one box of 20 round 223.

Stopped by Covington Academy to get my dad a pair of shooting earmuffs. They had the expensive .223 and some of those 50 round .22LR boxes. Not much else
