OB Wrench Turners. Got a question

2004 F150. 5.4 Triton engine. Famous for being a hunk of junk. ANyway, need an opinion from someone who maybe has had the same issue. All misfire Codes are on the Drivers side cylinder bank (5678). Coil packs changed on that side. Replaced the VTC (variable Timing solenoid) No improvement. Took it to the Ford Dealer for a diagnostic, they said "need new engine" I have found that is the common response. Anyway, just looking for anyone who may have had experience with this. Bout ready to just scrap it...
