Would there be any interest in an OB rambler decoy for this season? Basically, each week someone different hunts with the same decoy throughout the season. The previous weeks participant is responsible for ensuring the decoy gets to the next poster. A picture with your weeks kill will then be posted in the thread. I've got a Hollywood decoy I'd gladly donate to the cause.

If there's enough interest, I'll turn this into or start a sign-up theead.

I've done something similar before and it was neat but it covered a much larger geographic span than what I gather the ob would. Still would be cool to have the decoy travel aroun and highlight different environments. Also good opportunity to schedule a group of members to hunt together that probably otherwise wouldn't.

Why not just pass around the Hollywood decoy the entire season?

We did this a few years ago with a hand carved bird. He had a journal and each person that hunted over him added to the journal and added pictures. It was really cool and the decoy went all over the place. I would hunt with it.

We also did the same with a box call during turkey season. It's a cool deal.

That's exactly what I'm proposing.

I would say just use a thread as the journal. And I'll pay to have the decoy shipped back to me.

I will take it to Catahula opening day. If you never been on the lake opening morning it's a shite show to say the least.
