Anyone ever done this? I'd like to get into it. My boss has an M1 he never shoots and says I can use it if I want.

Use to shoot, there are many different classes to choose from. It is fun just more time consuming than you would think to get good at it. Lots of reloading and trigger time. There are two twin brothers from the north shore that are some of the best in the state if not the best.

Do I have to reload? I don't know how to do that shite. Can't I just buy ammo?

You can but to be competitive you will have to reload not to mention have making match grade upgrades to your weapon. There was/is a class for garands & M1As were the rifles are stock, not sure if those guys reload or not. You will spend a lot of time in a shooting jacket in your living room practicing on spots on the wall, wife might think your crazy but its fun all together.

Im tempted to buy a rock river national match A2 to shoot. I'd never use a jacket unless cold, more to just get out and shoot.

That jacket bs is bs to me but whatever.

I've shot the course of fire a thousand times in the Marines. I did pretty well. If I enjoy it am competitive I'll look at sexy rifles and reloading.
