A guy I hunt with makes some dang fine custom calls. Some of the guys on here have ordered from him before. His son and him do the duck call thing, but now his daughter wanted to get involved. Her request was she wanted a duck call from lego's. So whats a guy to do....... Turned out pretty fricking slick IMO. Especially considering what they're made of. He sleeved the toneboard in acrylic and plans to sleeve the barrel as well, but its a fully fuctioning call. Not exactly my first choice for a new call ,but it does look pretty slick and kids will definitely like it. He took it from this

When he put it on Mayday's fb page he started getting requests for more of them. He'd just released a new call called The Cure a couple weeks ago. Now instead of building Cure calls he's trying to keep up with Lego call orders

That's pretty cool but wouldn't the ducks be able to see that from a long ways off? I've never understood why calls come in bright oranges and bright greens and colors that stand out. Ducks can see well...

Not really, there is a poster on the board that had killed limits while he and his son wore Santa hats.

I had this argument with a buddy one day when the ducks were just falling out of the sky on us. I had on a jacket that was reversible to a hunter orange camo pattern. I turned the jacket around and shot my second limit over a 30 min period standing in the middle of our decoy spread.
