Probably a little early to send off for training.
Do some research on clicker training. IMO its the easiest way to train a young pup to learn its name, sit, stay, heel. When you do work with your dog, always work with him/her when its hungry, and a tired pup is easier to train than a pup full of energy.
If you do decide to go this route, don't waste your money on a fancy clicker, they are super easy to miss place, get a couple of the cheap $1 ones at the counter at petco, they work just as good.
