I just killed a scorpion in my house. Any suggestions to keep them out? This is a reoccurring problem once the weather gets excessively warm. TIA

I lived in Lincoln parish for 5 years. Never heard of any scorpions there.

I remember a couple of scorpions in the house as a kid and one of the cats brought a small tarantula on the porch one summer lol...this was in the late 80s/early 90s around the Natchitoches/Vernon parish line...

Had them in North Bossier Parish. I had to check my shoes every time before I put them on.

Burn the house down. Only reasonable option.

Spray your yard and house with Talstar or Demon every few months.

Was at a bachelor party and a scorpion was crawling across the driveway where we were frying fish. I cut his stinger off and ate it. My baws were impressed.

I noticed several while walking around a friends camp at night in Toledo Bend. Sprayed inside and out before we left with Demon. He hasn't had a problem since. That spray is usually good for about 6 months. Hit them a couple times a year and you won't have a problem. FYI, I've also seen them in St Francisville. Most people don't realize they can be found this far south.

I find them occasionally on our property in Lincoln Parish. If you go roll an old log over in the woods, there is a pretty good chance you'll find one.

Grew up in Jackson Parish, killed one in our house. Buddy of mine got stung climbing a tree, he thought he was going to die, lol.
