Does anyone have them? And if so, what do you recommend?

Popular sellers for us tend to be the Trijicon Hd followed by the Ameriglo idot pro.

I don't have either on a shield but I do shoot the HDs on my g19 which is my carry gun. I also shoot the Amerigo on a g17. I don't find I like one set over the other.

I think the absolute nicest ones are Heinie Straight Eights. I wish they sold them for my gun. The sight picture looks to be perfect.

Those sites are pretty low quality IMO

I have XS big dots on my M&P 9c...they are pretty great for 20 yards and in. Harder to get tight groups out past that but I don't consider my 9c as a tool for shooting at any real distance.

I also have the Trijicon HD's on my PPQ and like them alot. They are more versatile for sure.

It really boils down to what you want to do with your gun.

Trijicon makes the tritium vials for some (specifically the CAP front sight) of Ameriglo's front sights -- at least mine has "Trijicon" stamped/embossed on the top of the sight.

Yes they do. Which is why I won't pay the extra 40-50 bucks for Trijicon. I have Ameriglo's on 3 of my Glocks and I've been very pleased with them.

Glad you got rid of those crappy factory sights. That is one of my only complaints with the PPQ. The gun is excellent but the factory sight setup is garbage.

The sights were the only thing that i felt needed improvement. The Trijicons are a nice all around site. The OP would be good with them. I know the big dots get some hate but i really like them too.

This. I prefer the orange front dot.
