I'd rather .22LR than .22 mag, but it'd still be pretty cool to own.

I have this one. Very similar, but mine seems smaller. It's really a survival gun.

It is also a .22 mag/.410 combo.

Smithfield Armory M6 Scout Survival Rifle.

I'd rather 22 mag. That way you can shoot 22 short, 22lr, and 22 magnum. It's the same premise as .38 special and .357 magnum - one cartridge is simply the other one cut down a bit shorter.

Looks pretty sweet... My one bit of advice is to make sure you make your shots count. If I squirrel hunt, it's usually with a semi auto 22 so I can get a few more chances if I miss.

So your saying.. If i miss with the 22mag be ready to back it up with a 410 blast

VolsFan,
Many years ago I tried really hard to buy a Savage combo gun. Thought it'd be the perfect gun for squirrel hunting by yourself w/ a dog. I was looking for a 20 guage/22 LR combo. I wanted to mount a scope on mine. Ended up NOT getting one because I'd heard from others it was sometimes really difficult using the shotgun barrel in combination w/ a scope. Guess one could try "see though" rings, but I've never really liked them. Although a shingle shot break action gun chambered in 22 Mag should be able to shoot 22 LR's, they sometimes don't do it very accurately.

I could see the scope conflict with the 410. Not sure jd even put a scope on it
