Had this exact conversation with a few buddies that bass fish the marsh HARD. None have seen one much over 7/8 lbs and then this beast comes along. Makes me question the story. I know first had how good the area gotten for bass, but this is shocking if true.

This was posted last week, 'Pique... But I don't mind reading about it again.
I will add that I'm disappointed he kept it. Should have just taken a bunch of pics and measurements and had a replica made. Beautiful fish like that doesn't deserve to end up on a wall.

Did anybody see how many power poles he had??

I may be wrong but it just doesn't look 10 to me. Even with that world class hoist it still looks well short of 10

I have duck hunted out there a few times a year since the 80s. Two of my buds from NO. are there 3-4 days a week.
and boat launch owner saw it....
no reason for it to be at launch if not caught there.....one would think...
everyone I know that is out there a lot including myself have seen that kid out there many times
