I need to dip my hoop nets and bought couple gallons of the plastic dip. I have never used this type before, the other dips used before used gas but I think water would be used with the plastic net dip? Anybody else know what to cut it with?

Maybe read instructions?

I would doubt its latex(water soluble) for nets.

My dad used to spray our shrimp trawl with that stuff. Put it in a sprayer like used to paint- hooked to compressor.

I need to dip some of my turtle nets but have the black stuff. I was told to get a swimming pool at wal mart the same size. Well just a tee tiny bit bigger.

Never found anything on the net regarding how to dip hoop nets. Even emailed Champlin to ask. They're hush hush about that shyt.

The can has no instructions for mixing with anything. I tried that.

Best way.

Plastic dip use it right out the can. Make sure you use rubber gloves. If you have a lot of netting, get one of those plastic store away tubs at walmart. One that is very big. Roll the netting in it and let it drip back in. Once all dipped, stretch the netting out to dry.

Thanks, so it's used right out the can. I have a small Walmart swimming pool to use. Without cutting the dip I guess using the plastic you will need to buy a lot more than the black net dip. Thanks
