Need Tractor Advice: Front End Loaders

I know nothing about which loader would be best and I am new to this but here goes:
1. What loaders are compatible with Ford 5000 tractors? How do I know if a loader is compatible and where can I go online to research this?
2. What's the best site to find the best deals on front end loaders?
3. Who out in the BR area installs the loaders or is this a job I could do myself as a novice? Do they need hydraulics installed on this ford model to work?

If the loader isn't a direct bolt up and if the tractor doesn't already have all of the hydraulic remotes for a loader, it's gonna be a pretty involved job. Was that tractor available with a loader from the factory?

Call Shorty at BR Tractor. He'll send you in the right direction.
We have an old 5000 and sold the front end loader off of it about 15 years ago.
The tractors existing hydraulic system will run the loader with some additional plumbing. I am not sure who made the implement we had but I will ask my Dad.
Our 1972 5000 was the first piece of equipment my Dad bought back in the day (well used in the early 80's). We still have it and use it to pull discs for drying dirt during site prep on occasion.
I feel old when I refer to the early 80's as "back in the day"!

Nah the ford 5000 was Ford's finest most reliable tractor but it is pretty old

Pee Wee is at Baton Rouge Tractor Rebuidlers in Zachary, LA. Shows up online.
Spoke with my Dad and our 5000 is a 1965 and the Front End loader on ours was a Ford implement we bought new in the early 80's. Back then the loader cost more than the tractor.
ETA: Pee Wee is correct I don't know where I came up with Shorty from.

Gotcha.
We had an old Massey that we rigged with a loader. Had a big spool valve on the fender fed by one of the remotes on the back by the PTO. Worked great but the ergonomics sucked. It can absolutely be done if you want it bad enough.
You should look at woods implements and see if they have a package for that tractor. Somebody out there has one.
