Need some opinions on optics

I'm building a AR10 and looking at putting some pretty good optics on it.
I have ordered Meopta Meopro 4.5-14x50 HRTs but I'm thinking about returning it when it get here to get the Nightforce SHV 4-14x56.
the nightforce is about $100 more

From what I have heard, the Nightforce SHV isn't like a normal Nightforce in terms of quality. I would say go with the Meopta or go with a Vortex Viper PST FFP in 4-16. Now, if you could upgrade to a Nightforce NXS, then it is worth it.

+1 I have a 6*24*50 waiting to go on my 6.5 Grendel upper once it gets here. Great glass for the money. I have an SHV 4*14*56 and the Vortex wins hands down.

The SHV isn't supposed to be an NXS. It does use the same glass and a few internal components but that's where the similarities end.
We've had really good luck with the SHV. With the F1s now shipping it's an option for those that want night force but can't afford a NXS.
