Need help identifying a grass

I have pasture land planted in red river crabgrass and this stuff has just sprung up. I have 2 big patches of it and have tried to identify it online with no luck. It will be a couple weeks before I can get a sample to the extension agent and was curious if anyone might know what it was.


Beside my dog to give you an idea on the height

I would hope not. But if you google johnson grass the seed heads dont look the same
