I dont know that much about the differences in the countries of orgin and what is better or worse. Budget max is $1200-$1300. I really don't like the ones with all the plastic shite. It can have a fixed or be an underfolder. Want a 7.62 ×39. Any help is appreciated.

your mileage may vary, but thats WAY too much to spend on an AK. prices have jumped but there are millions of them on the market. none but the cheap copies have "plastic shite" on them

for example, a norinco MAK90 can be had for half of your budget. it will generally have wood furniture, and has the best factory stock trigger you'll find in an AK

best places i have found for bargain AK's are at pawn shops. look for a clean bore, a milled or stamped received with a square cut, and check for canted sights

thats about it
this is a rifle designed to be used hard
there is very little in the way of window dressing that you would find, want or need

That is an excellent price for an O-Pap with that much ammo.

They are a little low on stock but they normally have a big selection. I've bought 2 from them.I want one of the under fold stocks.

Dude you can buy 2 or 3 for that. They are about 600-800 dollars everywhere. Try Midway, PSA, GunBroker etc.

Then buy 1000 rounds of ammo. The Romanian guns are fine btw.

I got an M&M M10 and put an Ultimak on it. Runs like a champ

The whole point of the gun is that they are simple, dependable, durable and easy to clean etc. So they are easy to make and manufacturing quality not as important as in AR-15. So You dont need an 1100 dollar one. Just wasted money
