NEED 2 VENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just discovered that all 4 of my inshore fishing rod tips are broken! Went to GI last weekend (trip from hell but that's a whole other topic!) My bro in law and another buddy had to drop me off at NO airport Sunday afternoon for me to catch a flight to San Diego for business. We had all of our poles in boat and bro n law told me he would wash down and store my gear for me. I get back and just went to pick up my gear to find that all 4 of my inshore rods are now TIPLESS!!! Talk about one pissed off, raging, coon arse right about now!!! He's not around and I haven't spoken to him yet b/c I wanted to cool off first, but is he liable or am I out $400 worth of rods?

when you first posted your page was blank thats why i double birded, anyway that sucks balls. If he's got some cash maybe he wouldnt mind fixing them, hopefully they can be repaired if not , like my BIL they cant borrow shite anymore

do you guys think that repair is a solution...I would think that the sensitivity and strength would be totally compromised?

I broke 5" off a 7' MH spinning rod 2 weekends ago, put a new tip on it and the tip has no flex anymore, it's basically just a broomstick now

What kind of rods were they? I may be able to help you out with some new ones.

2 of them were shimano cantars, 1 is a LA Special, and the other a flueger. Sick to my stomach. Spoke to bro in law and he played the "stupid card" Like a deer in headlights. Not gonna do repair route, they are all at least 6" breaks. New poles for me looks like. Sucks, 1 was brand new and had never been used.

You still might as well buy a pack a tips and put new ones on there, use them as spares if someone needs to borrow some of your gear to fish.
