Yep, definitely too low. But if you enjoy it, that definitely makes it easier.

For that finish also look at milk paint. Very easy to work with and easy to distress. You could use a glaze or wax to get that finish.

Unlike latex you can sand it and get a slick smooth finish.

Thin it water and it sprays very well in an HVLP sprayer.

Posted this in the thread I made about ideas for the table, but I'm pretty happy with how it came out. It's certainly not perfect, but with the right tools, it was surprisingly easy to build (figured this out on round 2 building the table top) and about 250 bucks less than buying the BGE stand and folding shelves. Should have stained then sealed, but used Thompson's water seal instead, which is very streaky. But I'm impatient, and that's what I had. Think that's the biggest reason I can't take on intricate projects outside of owning the tools....I just don't have the patience to take my time

Very nice camper.

Built this door for my guest house. This is the second one with three more to do. All the lumber came off my sawmill along with all oak logs that came off my place.

You probably can, I'm a rough carpenter at best. I got a lot of help online from a discussion board full of folks who built theirs.

I used Domino's to help with alignment. I used to use biscuits before I had the domino though. If that's what youre asking.

Yes. I'm not familiar with the domino. Do you hand plan the top after you join it?

I skimmed through that thread of yours tommy

That's an awesome job you did

How often do you use it? How long did it take? How much money do you think you invested into the build?

Great job
