How do you have 2 cut angles on that one board? That a hole for a beach umbrella or something?

Looks like a few projects I've done in the past.

I'm just popping in here to say this thread is great. I look at it every time someone bumps it, and some of y'all are quite crafty. Im working on a little project at the house, but it's not to the level of some of the things I've seen in here.

Here's my poor mans outdoor kitchen I'm working on. I'm not going to have built in burners or grills. Still need to finish the cabinet under the counter. I work much slower around the house than I do at work.

I built this for my Old Man for Father's Day. Knowing him, it will get quite the workout

Cause you got out there.

Problem is that people don't even try anymore.

All jokes aside, if you take on another project and need some help, just ask me.

Ok, but let's be honest. I shouldn't be doing serious projects.

Been thinking about doing an outdoor fireplace how heavy are those individual pieces and how deep did you have to make your base?

If you're serious, I would consider doing a few for sale. I don't know how much time I would be able to devote to it right now. I would probably mark it up 200% of the materials, which I'm fairly certain were less than $100 for this. I'd have to sit down and figure it out.

I bought a firerock kit for the guts.

The foundation is pretty massive. My yard slopes off away from the house. At the rack of the fireplace level to the house is probably 18-20". The hearth is 15" as well.

The foundation is 8" thick concrete with rebar. On the corners and edges of the middle I have 8" round "piers" going down 18".
I don't have great dirt underneath is why.

So it goes down a pretty good bit.
