Navionics Help

My BIL just bought a boat that has a lakes edition navionics chip. He has a lowrance hds 7 gen 2 touch screen. I was looking at it lastnight and its not configured correctly. All it shows when you select a nearby lake is just yellow. No details of the lake what so ever. Is there a certain setting his lowrance needs to be set on? I want to say I had to change something when I had my boat but couldnt remember.

I think you may have to select the map card?

Did that. Thats when the screen goes yellow with no lake definition at all

Does it do that with other lakes also? Not all lakes will be on that card, especially smaller lakes.

We just looked at a local small lake. Ill go by there and try out a different one. I thought I had to change something with the setting but i must be mistakin
