That is awesome. I have a buddy up here that has 4 old tractors restored. He has done one a year. Only 26 years old. He let me drive one the other day and we were just putting around his property. It was awesome.

It really makes me want to get in the hobby of restoring them.
It started on the first crank and you could have sworn he just fired up a Ferrari by the look on his face.

Very cool. My dad has his old John Deere (1949) parked in his shop to restore one day. I plan on being involved in that. Great buy.

There aren't many better sounds than old tractors, old boat motors, old cars, and stories from old people.

We sold my grandads just like that to a cousin about 6 months ago.

He's a retired college professor with time and money and he likes restoring old stuff.

Looks really nice I have pics of me when I was 3-6 years old riding my grandads with him as he worked the farm.

if it is matching #'s,(and there is a lot that goes into it), that baby may be worth some $$$

That's pretty awesome. One day, I want to restore an old tractor just to keep around the house and show off.

Congrats.

Those old Super A's are great garden tractor. Having the offset seat and controls lets you look right down on the row. They are awkward to climb onto though if you do not have the cultivator bar mounted. That one looks to be in good shape.

Oh yeah, this tractor will be put to use in his garden. Gives you ability smaller rows for more efficient use of land. His JD 5075 wasn't really proficient for doing that
